Nobody loves Easter eggs more than children which is why we've collected and donated a huge selection of eggs to children receiving care from charities local to our four regional offices.
Our staff within each office voted for their preferred children's charity then hit the shops and bought eggs to donate to the cause. These were subsequently gathered together and either delivered to or collected by the charities concerned. It's hoped that our chocolate gifts will bring a smile to poorly and disadvantaged children over this coming Easter weekend.
To tell you a little about our chosen charities: Manchester's was Wood Street Mission, a charity alleviating the effects of poverty for families around the Greater Manchester area; Redcar's was Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, a charity providing palliative, respite and end-of-life support for children aged up to five; Liverpool's was Alder Hey Children's Hospital, a centre treating over 270,000 children every year; Brighton's was the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, a hospital offering medical and nursing care using state-of-the-art facilities.
