Dealing with confidential documents and accountancy matters is always a sensitive business…not only making sure that data and information is subjected to the highest level of security, but ensuring that irreplaceable records are backed-up at all times. With Pinpoint, these measures and precautions are taken as a matter of course with client confidentiality the highest priority, and with a network of built-in systems and procedures ensuring all data is protected from virus, deletion, disaster or destruction.
The ongoing security of all data entrusted to Pinpoint is based on a four fold strategy:
Network Protection Services. All Internet traffic passes through our hardware antivirus and firewall solutions. Each networked Pinpoint PC also has anti-virus software, updated on a daily basis. As a further level of network protection, all Pinpoint data is stored on banks of non-Windows based servers.
Client Authentication and Authorisation. Each user licence is assigned a Client ID, Username and Password, and a role which can be used to access authorised areas.
Data Encryption. All Pinpoint Interactive information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet using industry standard 128 bit, single root SSL.
Data Centre and Co-location. We take every precaution to ensure records are safely ‘banked’ with us and backed-up to help remove the risk of loss…not just in one safe location, but two!
