Raising the bar – Best Companies ‘outstanding’ employee engagement
15/02/21Leading legal software provider Quill has been recognised as a well-led and well-managed organisation demonstrating ‘outstanding’ levels of employee engagement, despite the current unprecedented circumstances.
The organisation, which has a 100-strong team-based mostly in Manchester and Liverpool, has been certified by Best Companies and recognised for its commitment to employees, with a 2-star ‘Outstanding’ accreditation rating.
The achievement comes following Quill’s support of its employees during the initial and ongoing months of the pandemic, where it provided access to a Mental Health First Aider and counselling through an Employee Assistance Programme.
The company sent out monthly surveys to staff to assess how they were feeling and to ensure they were helping them effectively.
Quill’s overarching commitment to its staff is to always provide the best possible workplace, which promotes equal opportunities, continued professional development, career progression pathways and a fun place to work. They are guided by CORE values of remaining committed, open and honest, respectful and supportive, and efficient.
Julian Bryan, Managing Director, said: “I firmly believe that a key ingredient to organisational success is the continual fostering of the symbiotic relationship between employer and employee.
“This year in particular has demonstrated how Quill’s thriving and flourishing ecosystem supports and enhances the wellbeing of each individual for the benefit of every stakeholder.”
Best Companies has over 20 years experience in helping organisations measure and improve employee engagement using a robust methodology, with their accreditation standard certifying excellence in the workplace since 2006.
Jonathan Austin, Founder and CEO of Best Companies, said: “Quill’s fantastic achievement demonstrates that they have been well led and well managed during these most testing of times. They’ve continued to put their people at the forefront of all they do and have been rewarded with outstanding levels of engagement – congratulations.”
