Quill acquires Professional Technology UK Ltd.
We launch our outsourced transcription and typing service, endorsed by the Manchester Law Society, LawNet and Lawshare.
Quill acquires Solicitors Case Management Systems Ltd and integrates its legal forms functionality within Quill’s software. Best Companies recognises us for our employee engagement initiatives and offering a caring workplace.
Our latest legal accounting and case management software wins the Institute of Legal Finance & Management Solicitors’ (ILFM) Software Users Award first in 2010 and again in 2012.
We extend our outsourced service offerings with our outsourced payroll bureau.
We launch the first version of our legal accounts and practice management software.
Knowing how difficult it is for law firms to find good legal cashiers and the lengthy turnaround time for processing accounts, we set up an outsourced cashiering bureau.
We change our name to Quill Computer Systems and started developing our flagship legal accounts and practice management software.
Appreciating how the legal profession is required to perform lots of repetitive paperwork tasks, we begin working closely with law firms to help them overcome this with Microsoft’s innovative word processing technology.
First established as Gerrard Calculator Systems, we begin supplying programmable calculators from our headquarters in Manchester.
