2022 Charity Partner
Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They’re all connected, and they’re all under the BHF’s microscope. The brutal reality is there’s so much more for science to discover before beating the world’s biggest killers.
The BHF funds around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases, and the things that cause them. Funding research is the game changer. And we all have a role to play. Tools such as heart transplants and pacemakers to stents and portable defibrillators are all down to research. Research made possible by the BHF’s supporters. Supporters like Quill.
As charity partners, we’re joining forces to make the impossible possible – enabling the BHF to take the best and brightest ideas from scientists’ minds, and turn them into treatments you can get at your GP. By doing so, theories on pages can jump into reality. Ultimately, research can save your life and your family’s lives.
We will be doing our bit in 2022 by undertaking some innovative and challenging fundraising activities to earn much-needed money for this worthy cause.

Quill awarded Best Companies 2-star accreditation
A huge part of Quill’s mission is to build a truly amazing company – one that the team loves being a part of. With this in mind, company culture, team engagement and staff wellbeing are key priorities for us here at Quill, and we’re absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve achieved the 2-star accreditation award from Best Companies!
Best Companies is an annual survey and recognition programme which sets the standard for workplace engagement and employee wellbeing. Our 2-star accreditation recognises outstanding levels of employee engagement and comes following our approach to supporting employees during the initial and ongoing months of the pandemic, where we provided access to a Mental Health First Aider and counselling.
Jonathan Austin, Founder and CEO of Best Companies, said: “Quill’s fantastic achievement demonstrates that they have been well led and well managed during these most testing of times. They’ve continued to put their people at the forefront of all they do and have been rewarded with outstanding levels of engagement – congratulations.”Read our Best Companies profile
