Quill acquires PTUK to expand its presence in the legal practice management software marketplace

In May 2019, legal software company Professional Technology UK Ltd (PTUK) was acquired by Quill, a major player in the legal practice management software market in the United Kingdom.

Users of PTUK’s Quaestor and Seriatim legal practice management systems are invited to upgrade to Quill’s cloud-based software platform and are being supported fully throughout the implementation and transition process.

“Quill has a long and strong heritage serving the legal sector. Having worked at PTUK for 35 years, I’m delighted to join Quill’s board of directors and continue doing what I love – developing smart tech solutions especially for law professionals and devising the strategic direction of the business in line with evolving marketplace demands,” says Alan Farley, current Business Analyst at Quill and former Managing Director of PTUK.

Quill’s integrated legal accounts, case and document management system is used by over 750 practices and is designed to manage accounts, cases and documents from one simple source of truth with cloud delivery for hybrid-working flexibility.
