Quill is ranked an even-better place to work in 202226/08/22
Why Quill remains one of the best places to work in the UK…
- Quill receives Best Companies accolades as ‘The UK’s 50 Best Mid-Sized Companies to Work For’, ‘The North West’s 75 Best Companies to Work For’ and ‘Technology’s 25 Best Companies to Work For’ in 2022.
- Quill moves up the rankings in the North West and UK’s mid-sized categories.
- Initiatives introduced and continued by Quill to support employee engagement and staff satisfaction include a new flexible benefits portal, company-wide quarterly full-staff meetings, QTalk Q&A forum, annual AGM for all staff and socials such as QuillFest family fun day.
- Quill also retains Best Companies 2-star status as ‘Outstanding to Work For’ in 2022.
Demonstrating it’s one of the best companies to work for in 2022, 2-star Best Companies accredited Quill has been awarded rankings in Best’s national league tables. These tables give businesses the recognition they deserve – nationally, regionally and within their sector – as a ‘Best Company to Work For’.
During the Best Companies Live event on Friday 19th August, with television presenter Dan Walker in Master of Ceremonies role, Quill earned 25th place in the technology sector, 50th place in the UK mid-sized category and 52nd place in the North West.
Tom Wormald, Quill’s Managing Director, comments: “I’m extremely proud of our placements by Best Companies. We’ve moved up several positions in two of the three league tables which is an impressive achievement. We think Quill is a great place to work and it’s fantastic that others endorse that too.”
“These results are testament to how engaged and happy our employees feel. At Quill, we believe our staff are our greatest asset and we prioritise looking after them. I’m very lucky indeed to work alongside such a great body of talented individuals. There’s still work to be done, and that’s our focus for the rest of 2022 into 2023. We have excellent foundations from which to keep building our Best credentials.”
Emma Wells, Quill’s HR & Culture Lead, states: “We value, nurture and develop every single staff member, striving to continually deliver more and more incentives and opportunities. In the past few months alone, we’ve launched our ‘Thanks Ben’ benefits and wellbeing platform which can be personalised to each employee’s preferences. We’re receptive to staff feedback and we’re using Best Companies survey results to inform future engagement schemes.”
